Wednesday Night Dinner

Richie decided to make use of his new bowls he bought on sale at Sur La Table.

Another Hot Pot Night

He Can’t Be Stopped

If someone says “I’m hungry” or “I’m craving ___” around Richie and there’s a kitchen around, he will jump in and make you something.

While visiting my cousins place last Saturday after the Tet festivities (or lack thereof), everyone had a craving for dessert. While some people wanted ice cream, other people wanted a chocolate pastry. “Oh I can make that,” says Richie.

And he did.

Happiest Birthday

It Speaks Truth

Richie got the one on the top, mine is the one on the bottom.

The fortune cookies weren’t too far off the mark. We’ll be crossing the Mojave to visit Richie’s parents for lunar new year but I would hardly call that a fun vacation. As for treating myself with a book? Per Kim’s suggestion I bought The Hunger Games. Per Brent’s suggestion, I bought it for the iPad (for $4.95 why not?!).

You just can’t say no to the cookie.
